Dear Friends at CBN,
I know that you share the joy and exhuberance that the majority of Americans feel with regard to the recent national elections, which only strengthens my belief that there is a God. A God who has his own way of dealing with those in positions of responsibility who continually lie to the people they have been elected to serve and protect. I thank God for giving us at least a fairer election process than what we had previously in 2000 and 2004. I know that Mr. Robertson, like myself is very pleased that J. Kenneth Blackwell( a modern day Benedict Arnold) lost in attempt to become the new Governor of Ohio. This man not only betrayed his fellow African-Americans in Ohio by actively promoting their disenfranchisement by providing dysfunctional voting machines but he maliciously defamed his opponent by falsely claiming that he was a homosexual. This heinous act denigrates Mr. Strickland and homosexuals. I also know that you don't approve of the actions of Tom Delay, who singlehandedly gave the people of Texas a one party dictatorship. But the Lord works in mysterious ways. Who would have thought that not only would Tom Delay face jail time, but Tom Delay's seat would be taken by a Democrat? God has dealt with Ney, Delay, Abramoff, Lay, Cunningham, Tobin, Haggard and others far too numerous to mention but there is just one more person that we hope will be shown the error of his ways and that of course is the "honorable" George W. Bush. I know that you at CBN pray for the impeachment of Mr. Bush for his well being and that of the country on the whole since so many of his actions have been contrary to the teachings of The Bible and Christianity in general....Thou Shalt Not Kill, Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness, Thou Shalt Not Covet. Of course it is always wise to remember that it has been written "Let He Who Is Without Sin Throw The First Stone" and I am not perfect but I (like you and the majority of the American People) must acknowledge wrongdoing when we see it because if we don't we are condoning it. Have a pleasant day. Sincerely, Cch092775
